About Landen

Landen is the dispossessed prince of Bellandra that Torina befriends and eventually falls in love with. His character is amazing in holding to the beliefs in peace instilled in him during his brief childhood in his home country; despite the violent deaths of his Father and many others close to him. He becomes a capable and more than able fighter, but doesn't actually kill anyone until he is forced to do so by circumstances out of his control. His eventual meeting with Torina, and his quickness to forgive everything she did in the past to hurt him is pretty amazing. He is respected by renowned leaders and statesmen in the world of The Seer and the Sword, and is generally liked by all individuals... except the ones that we don't like, or want him to be liked by. He's the kind of guy you not only want for a friend, or boyfriend; he's the kind of guy you'd take home to meet the parents, and forever keep on display because he's so great.
