What is a fanlisting?
A
fanlisting is a website created by a fan of a particular subject,
with the aim of gathering together a list (either in database format
or hardcoded HTML) of other fans of that particular subject. The
actual concept has probably been around for a long time but the term
'fanlisting' as a one-word noun was first used when Janine Mischor
created The Fanlistings Network in 2000. - Definitions on the
web.
What about 'The
Celts'?
The Celts is a
re-release of Enya's first, self-titled album, originally
released in 1987, that was basically a soundtrack she created
for a series on the Celts that was run on BBC; hence, the name
of the slightly updated version of Enya's first effort.
What about the
site?
The original
revolution of the fanlisting was owned by Ellie; she was kind
enough to permit Shiralis to adopt it from her, and this layout
reflects Shiralis' hard work to get it up and running in the two
week deadline, between Math studies, student teaching, teachers
meetings, and tutoring.
