Diving In The Sea

I saw these colorful sea clams at only one of the islands I snorkeled and scuba dived at. In the marine national park south of Koh Chang. These few photos are a small sample of the incredible variety of color and patterns – only at one island location.
Scuba Diving in Southern Queensland
Article by Romela de Leon
Southern Queensland’s water is among the top final resting places of wrecked ships. Because of this, it is haven for a lot of reef divers. Wrecked ships attract a great deal of fishes in the sea. It is new environment to them, which leads these aquatic species to start off their new habitat in these distinct places under the sea. These are certified fish magnets.
Apart from seeing ship wrecks, scuba diving in Southern Queensland means witnessing the grandeur of its underwater kingdom. The Sunshine Coast is filled with extraordinary sights of the aqua world. These include majestic sandstone formations covered with hard and soft corals. You can also explore numerous ledges, caves, pinnacles, and gutters under the sea.
In Southern Queensland, there are four top reef diving sites that are sure to bring a memorable experience to an adventure. These are the Inner Gneerings, Outher Gneerings, Murphy’s Reef, and Mudjimba Island. Depending on the diving site, there are numerous sea creatures to behold like the tropical fish, crayfish, sea urchins, anemones, bat fish, mackerel, starfish, sea whips, gorgonians, turtles, stingrays, nudibranches, Spanish dancers, cowries, coral trout, small groper, and bottom dwelling sharks like wobbegongs.
To start with, here are a few tips on scuba diving:
1. Do not get into contact with corals and marine life. Corals are sensitive that their natural beauty can easily get damaged.2. Avoid using gloves and kneepads in coral environments3. Make sure you are with an expert team if you intend to feed, handle, or photograph marine creatures.4. Practice proper finning technique and body control5. Never chase or ride marine animals6. Maintain normal buoyancy control7. Take nothing out of the sea except garbage
Most importantly, check first with your local authorities or reliable diving organizations if the group you are hiring for scuba diving is a professional and trained team. Check if they have encountered accidents before while reef diving. Safety is always the best tip before going out on any adventure above, or under water.

Diving in the sea question by Ashwin: What is the best way to holiday in Egypt, covering both the Red Sea and Luxor?
Hi there,
I am looking to spend 14 nights in Egypt but would like to divide my time between the Red Sea for diving (possibly Sharm-El-Sheikh) and also Luxor for the Egyptian ruins and Pyramids.
I believe these are quite some distance from one another so could anyone suggest the best way of doing the above in the best and cheapest possible way.
Many Thanks

One of the best ways to holiday in Egypt is to book through an educational tour group, such as EF or ACIS. These are all inclusive tours. These tours are usually non expensive and you meet a lot of new people. They are usually also very busy. They are called walking tours, and that is what you do, walk, alot. However, I have used them both and had a wonderful time.
You can also travel free style. Educate yourself before you go. I bought a travel book from a bookstore that gave tons of information about the country, and different cities you can see, and other extras that you can do. For example, you can take a dinner boat tour on the Nile. You can also take a few days boat tour from Cairo down to Luxor/Thebes. You can also get a cheap guided tour of the pyramids in a horse and carriage. The drivers usually speak multiple languages and know the history of the pyramids in depth. Be careful though. If you do go to see the pyramids, there are several shops there that will get your attention, and your money. Not that this is wrong, just expensive. You can have your name handwritten on papyrus. You can have your own personal, one of a kind perfumes made in front of you. These are wonderful items, but something you can do without and spend that money elsewhere.
Sharm El-Sheikh is a resort town, therefore expensive. I recommend researching the amenities online and only book through a reputable site and a reputable hotel. Also make sure that when you book your hotels, some do not have A/C. The book I mentioned above will have a list of the hotels and what amenities they each offer. The book also gives a few phrases in Arabic to help you get around.
Cairo is a HUGE city and can be very confusing. The traffic is horrible, but unavoidable. It is like any other big city, only very hot. Be very careful. There is pollution and traffic is dangerous. If you are walking, stay away from the roadsides. Also be aware that just off the Nile on one side is most of the embassies. There will be men with guns guarding them. This is a good thing, but can be a little unsettling to some. There are many things to see in Cairo. Mainly the museum. It is a MUST.
Alexandria is also something you will want to see. Beautiful beaches, mosques, the bibliotech. So much to see. Alexandria is much cooler normally than Cairo as it is beach front.
Take into consideration the weather. It is very hot during the months of July/August. Luxor and the rest of upper Egypt is VERY hot during the summer months. If you are planning to travel during this time, wear light clothing, drink lots of bottled water. Eat only at a reputable place. It is easy to have stomach issues when traveling anywhere.
All of this is from personal experience. I hope you do go, you will have a wonderful visit. It is one of the most beautiful places I have been.

Diving In The Sea
dive boat

a dive trip to Malaysia, Pulau Tioman, just off the coast from Mersing. We drove up from Singapore on Friday night, stayed in Mersing and took the Saturday morning ferry across to the island. Dives on Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning. The visibility wasn’t great but I loved the swimthrough and the many nudibranches (of which only 1 made it to my selection for flickr). And the last dive on the trip was my 50th dive!

Every business wants their website to be in the top ten of searches in Google. Well, if you get some really simple things right youre in with a big chance of making a splash. Working with your website designer is vital to your success!
Hire the right person for the job. The first thing to decide is who is going to build your brand new website; do you know enough to do it yourself? Or rather the question should be: If you wanted to build a house would you get a builder in or would you just dive in and do it yourself? Well most people would hire a builder, right? So even if you can do some of the work and design yourself you probably still need expert advice on the structural work. Ideally your web designer should be local to you, have a back catalogue and generally be a good fellow. For more information visit http://www.impacts-audio.com Many people go by gut feeling but if you can see what he, or she, has done in the past this should be enough to convince you. Most web designers get a lot of their work via referrals, so chances are you may know someone who has done business with a website designer and has been very satisfied with the results. Ask around.
What else to ask your prospective Website Designer. A few other good things to ask your prospective website designer are: 1. What internet Marketing Experience do you have? 2. Do you offer an SEO (search engine optimization service) in case I need it? 3. Who will maintain my site, and how? 4. Do I need to arrange the hosting for my web?
Work with your website designer.
First and foremost you need to know what you want, make sure you have a clear vision of where you want to take your business on the web. Also have a good idea of your websites theme; this is important as consistency is the key. A great way to show your business needs for your website is to draw up a site map- this looks like a mind map; and most top business entrepreneurs do this to brainstorm their business. This will save your Website Designer asking you lots of questions and also save both parties lots of time.
Get your content together.
This really important step is going to save you lots of time and energy; you need to make sure you have all your content or copy. I.e. written blurb about your products or service. Your web designer will be in constant contact with you in this area as this is where the optimisation (getting a good rank in search engines) starts. It is more important than graphics as the written word is what will drive traffic to your website from search engines and also convert clicks into customers and even repeat customers. This is where your web designers knowledge in marketing and SEO comes in very handy.. If visitors can’t find the information they are searching for, they will click away, perhaps never to return again.
Graphics and pictures.
You have already let your website designer know how you want your website to look – its always worth surfing on the web for similar sites to get an idea of the look you like. Email 10 or 15 different websites to your web designer with a few comments with each site that tell them what you like about different sections, pictures, tabs, colour, look or feel. You can visit http://www.magic-mini-site.com you also may have pictures of your products, logos and even a picture of your staff or yourself. If not your website designer will help you by buying in some pictures and graphics to fill the gaps. If you need a logo your web designer should also be able to design this for you.
Website Designer Feedback.
Your website designer will guide you through all the necessary dos and donts of your website. From the the look of your site, to content or copy, privacy polices and navigation. Website designers are also very savy when it comes to how your prospective clients react to your new website and with all the info collected from you will then be put into best practise. Relevancy is the key and your website designer will build your new website with this in mind. This will maximise your visability on the web and give you a good starting point for the long term in your internet business.

How to make a Big Splash in the Sea of Second Chance Dating
Diving In The Sea
How to make a Big Splash in the Sea of Second Chance Dating
Article by TW Jackson
Getting back into the dating game might feel a little bit like diving into shark infested waters. To some degree this is an apt analogy but you might find that it isn’t as frightening to swim with the big fish as you’ve been led to believe.
Dating changes often but the basic rules remain the same. Keep these rules in mind when you find yourself dating again and hopefully you’ll enjoy better results this time around.
So, what do you need to do to make it through these treacherous waters and live to date another day?
Think like one of the big fish. This doesn’t mean to go in like some head bobbing, gold chain wearing, throwback to the disco era. You do need to have some degree of confidence and positive thinking to make it work well for you. Otherwise you’ll never get beyond asking her out.
Believe you’re going to hit it off and have a great time and you’re chances for first date success will improve significantly. There really is a great deal of power in positive thinking. There is an equal amount of power, on the flipside, in negative thinking. Make sure you use that power wisely and in your favor.
Don’t bring your ex along on the date with you. While most people would never even dream of bringing the ex along “in the flesh” so many people bring the ex along with bitterness, attitudes, and fears. A new date is a clean slate. Let it be your fresh start as well as a fresh start for the person you’re going out with.
Don’t hold her responsible for the sins of your ex and expect her to not hold you responsible for the evils of her ex. It’s a wonderful two way street that works well for the two of you. A third wheel on the date though isn’t fun for anyone.
Be your charming best. Even if it isn’t in your nature to be charming all the time, make a special effort on the first date. While it’s good to be yourself you can play up your fabulousness while downplaying your flaws to some degree. You might even accidentally overcome some of your more glaring flaws with a little practice at hiding them.
The bottom line is that you need to be prepared to put your best face forward, leave your ex at home, and be confident in yourself in order to enjoy a great first date when getting back into the dating game.

Diving in the sea question by Summer: How easy is a PADI diving course? urgent help needed please?
I’m 15 and went scuba diving for the first time in the Caribbean almost 2 years ago now.
It was great fun and i’ve decided that i want to get my PADI certificate, the problem being that i’m going to Sharm-El-Sheikh in about a month’s time so my instructor recommends doing an “open water referral” course where i do the work and pool dives in England at the pool and then when i go to egypt i finish off the sea dives there.
this means that i have to read all the books really fast (i’m in the middle of mock gcse’s right now) and i was wondering how hard/long it takes to read everything and then pass the exams?
only helpful comments please i’m getting quite stressed.
thanks x

For my part , I took to the water like a fish , Im 60 Yrs old. The Equipment I found easy to understand and use,The book work is extensive , and diving is a serious business, you must study to pass. The hardest part for me was using the recreational dive planer , tells you on two tank dive ,what depth you can go to and what your bottom time is on the second dive , etc .I had to study hard , my instructor me every step of the way ..The only other trouble area for me was the compass test , while under water , had to do it twice , still I passed it.So is it hard , yes , is it worht it , off the charts YES…Pool dives will get you prep aired for your open water certification , a Must ..Study time for me was about 12 hours …Good Luck
